Keep up with safe washes and basic upkeep, and you’ll get the longest life and best performance out of the coating.

Yep, you’ll still wash it, but you won’t have to fight it. Ceramic coating makes the surface slick, so dirt, bugs, and road film don’t cling as hard. Most washes feel quicker and easier, and the car stays looking cleaner between wash days.

It helps with the light stuff, like reducing swirls from normal washing and adding a tougher barrier on the paint. But it won’t stop rock chips at speed or protect like paint protection film. If you want maximum defense up front, combining ceramic coating with PPF is the best setup.
